Our apartment is strictly non-smoking We ask you to NOT smoke inside. Thank you very much.
Generally we'd ask you to use common sense and leave the apartment as you have found it when arriving (with the exception of usual cleaning of which we will take care after your departure). Please consider that we spent quite some time and effort to make the apartment look as it does today and that we are just a regular family and not a commercial hotel business. We will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible - please just talk to us.
Arrival and departure
The apartment will be available on the day of arrival at 14:00. Please inform us about your expected arrival time and 1h before to make sure we are at home and can prepare everything. Keys are handed over as agreed on individually. Please leave the apartment on the departure day at 11:00. Please clean the dishes and store everything in its place. Throw used towels and removed bed sheets into the bathroom. We will try to accommodate your wishes regarding different arrival or departure times.
Bathroom
Do not throw anything into toilet, shower or tub which does not belong there to prevent pipe congestions. Please use the bins or ask us if in doubt.
Damages
Small mishaps may happen - please inform us as soon as possible if something is broken. In case of a significant value we have to ask you for a compensation.
Sheets
Sheets will be provided for your stay.
Payments
Upon booking we request a deposit of 10%, the remaining amount either ahead or latest upon arrival, either in cash or bank transfer.
Bookings
Please send booking enquiries either using the reservation page, by E-Mail or by phone. A booking must be confirmed by us by E-Mail along with an invoice. This booking confirmation represents a legally binding contract, which means that you accept our terms and conditions including cancellation policies.
Departure cleaning
Departure cleaning is included unless agreed otherwise, however we'd have to charge you for cleaning of excessive cleaning if necessary. We'd ask you separate rubbish as explained below..
Hair drier
A hair drier will be available during your stay. Please remove remaining hair if any.
Liability
We cannot accept any liability for your valuables.
Towels
Towels will be available during your stay. Upon departure please just dump them into the bathroom along with removed bed sheets.
Access
Under extraordinary conditions it might be necessary that we have to enter your apartment. We will coordinate this with you whenever possible.
Pets
Pets are not permitted except previously agreed on.
Internet / WLAN / Wifi
Highspeed-Internet is available free of charge, access information is posted in the apartment.
Children's bed / high chair
If needed, we can supply a cot with sheets etc - please inform us before arrival.
Kitchen
Before leaving, please return cleaned dishes, cutlery etc into the cupboards. To avoid pipe congestions, please don't throw anything into the sink which does not belong there.
Offences
In case or repeated offences against these conditions we assume the right to cancel the rental contract and will have to ask you immediately without any refund.
Airing and windows
To avoid mildew please air the rooms sufficiently, especially after cooking, showering etc. On the other hand, please close all outside doors and windows when leaving the apartment to prevent damages due to burglars or bad weather. Also, please avoid wasting heating energy by leaving windows open for a long time during winter.
Garbage
Please separate garbage:
- German "yellow bag" with recyclable plastics, metal (cans, tins, ...), styro-foam, etc into the yellow bin at the house entrance
- Paper, cardboard, ... into the blue bin at the house entrance
- everything except glass else into the black bin at the house entrance
Garbage bags will be available, Please dispose glass into the public collection bins and return containers with deposit to supermarket.
Utilities
Costs for water, electricity, heating, garbage etc are included in the rental fee, however please conserve resources whenever possible. We reserve the right to charge you for excessive consumptions.
Deductions
We will attempt to make your stay as perfect as possible, cannot accept responsibility though for failures in public supplies (water, electricity, ...) or acts of nature.
If something does not work as expected please tell us immediately and we will try to remedy the problem as soon as possible, Complaints at a later time cannot be considered as a reason for deductions.
Smoking
Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited - to avoid unpleasant smells as well as to avoid fires.
Cleaning
Please clean yourself during your stay. Cleaning utilities are available.
Quiet hours
Your apartment is within a regular residential house and neighbourhood - we'd ask you to avoid offensive or annoying behaviour. Please keep quiet during usual sleeping hours.
Keys
Please keep your keys and don't forget to return them at departure. If you lose a key we'll have to charge you the lock replacement.
Shoes
We'd ask you to leave dirty shoes outside.
Cancellations
Our cancellation policy is posted separately under Prices. Please consider an appropriate travel insurance.
Early departure
We cannot refund any rental fees in case of an early departure.
